wow james, sorry to hear this development. but it is certainly lucky that you caught it and that it's benign! and that you have insurance (it kills me that this is still an issue in this day and age!). i hope it will be resolved as easily as these things can be. stay strong!

best wishes on a speedy recovery,
katie

Wow. That is frightening. Yet you DO sound amazingly positive, very calm about it all.

A couple years ago, one of my younger cousins discovered a brain tumor was the reason her vision problems, which she'd always had, had suddenly been getting worse since the thing was pressing against her optic nerves somehow. She had it mostly removed and when I saw her just last month, she looked wonderful, completely energetic and happy. She says they (the doctors, nutrition which she is studying, etc.) can do so much now, and she is optimistic, if irreversibly changed, about the future.

You sound like you are in good hands, and you have a lot of support. That is important. Best wishes for dealing with it all.

Yeah, being that the tumor is in the front of my brain I worry about any issues my optic nerves might provide. I really don't know anything about that yet.

Glad to hear that your cousin had such a positive experience!

Sounds like you are on top of the situation. On the bright side, who are you going to strangle first with your new telekinetic powers?

Man, I knew that either you or squidder would have the SCANNERS reference. Thanks man!

I should see that again (probably a better over-all experience than renting Kindergarten Cop...).
