I had an up-and-down day today that demands a post.

Good and/or interesting things always happen in bunches for me. Like this week, when I served jury duty (still am!), verified that I didn't, in fact, fail my Canadian Cinema class and that it was actually a clerical error and so am graduating in a few weeks, and GOT MY LICENSE BACK ( Read more... )

I have a new name this week: Juror #10. I was selected for jury duty this morning for a criminal trial that started today. Truly, I can't say anything about the trial itself, but the juror selection process was not unlike a John Grisham novel. Names are put in a drum and selected at random.
