*hugs tight*

I would definitely try to make an appointment with that other psychiatrist, I think that could really help. I hope it does *hugs*

I think that you are lovely. But yes, please make an appointment with the alterna-shrink, because as an outside observer, this med change deal does not appear to be working well. I don't think all of the awful/anxious/hopeless is all in your head in the sense that your side effects sound legit fucking miserable and you've been dealing with them for a long time and that is not okay. The point of changing your meds was to increase your quality of life!

I'm not going anywhere. I like you, even if you feel like everything's falling apart.

I wish I knew what to say or do that would be good right now.

(Also if David needs recs for the best tacos in town, I can supply.)

Thanks.

I think David would love taco recs. Also at some point I will visit. Not sure when yet.

I think it's a really good idea for you to get that second opinion, and have your medication re-assessed. Very smart! Great step in taking better care of yourself. Because you shouldn't be feeling like this---if the meds make you feel and be physically ill, then it follows that you would not feel good mentally or emotionally. Everything's connected. I wonder if there are some bad interactions going on between the meds. Listen to your body (it sounds like you're doing that already).

Things WILL get better! You've got me (and a lot of other people here on LJ), pulling for you!
