Oh man, this time off is great. I mean I really love having no work to worry about, even if its only for another couple days. My new job starts on Monday, and I'm still sort of just waiting for Seimens to call so I can get on with my life in a direction I'm really looking for. I was told my services were no longer needed or desired. I turned in my keys and my badge and Loss Prevention escorted me out of the building.

I wonder what I did to deserve such a goodbye party.

On to what will be, certainly, 2 weeks of vacation and a lot of drinking.

I guess I read it all wrong. I'm just really happy she can stay as a friend. I still have a blast spending time with her and I'm really glad that she's alright with me still and it seems like nothing really changed.
