I think the test to tell if you suck at listening to music is if you can tell how SHITTY stuff sounds at 128 kbps.

If you rip at 128.. you fail. Stop.

yup, 196 is the bare minimum i can handle. in fact the only reason i use this is to fit more shit on the iPod.

Indeed. I can't stand anything below 192. Some of my old songs were in 128 just to conserve space, and I really wish I hadn't put them in that.
