Happiness is clean wound dressings
Because when parts of your body have been cut off and then grafted back on, and the hospital has put gauze covered in manuka honey over it to help it heal, the last thing you need are dressings over the top which come unstuck after about six hours when they were supposed to last four days. There was a walk in the woods followed by venison stew cooked in a firepit. There was lots of good conversation and meaningful Words spoken over the mead horn.

Waiting (a rant)

Dissertations, proposals and jobs, oh my
The problem with writing a PhD research proposal, for me, is that I don't know what it is that I am going to be researching - because I haven't done it yet. Hence the proposal. I don't know what the impact will be, because I don't know what my conclusions will be - because I haven't read the books / talked to the people / thoroughly figured out ( Read more... ) -
