I lost my Simon. He got a lump on his thyroid gland and developed hyperthyroidism. He lost 5lbs very quickly. There was no where close to get him radiation treatment which would have been the best. Well I got my book last night. I read the first two chapters before I finally decided I had to get some sleep or none of it would sink in. But now, I've finished it. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. It was a fantastic book. J.K. Rowling did a magnificent job. She tied up all of the loose ends and did it in a very satisfying way. Bravo!

Today I lost my companion, my friend. My Cricket has gone to the rainbow bridge. I miss her so much.

Wow. I can't believe that Ian Thorpe has retired. I'm sad that we won't get to see him swim anymore but he really seems happy about his decision so all I can do is wish him all the happiness in the world. Good Luck! We'll miss you Thorpey!

Well I made it back from Nashville, barely. Talk about a flight from hell. We were getting back to Pierre via the scenic route. Nashville to Memphis to Minneapolis to Pierre. We had another wonderful snow storm yesterday. Of course, I was sick so I really felt wonderful. Ran out of klenex so I had to go out in this mess to buy more. Aargh! Now if I can get my head to quit pounding...

God its been a long time since I've written in here. In August/September, I'm going to Hawaii to meet M when they get back. I'm hoping we can spend a couple of days there before we head back to the mainland. Depends on the finances. I won't know the exact dates until it gets much closer. In about five months. It rained all day today. I was happy to stay home and just do house stuff. It's supposed to freeze tonight with the rain turning to snow. Great, just what we need... black ice. I'm taking the Ranger in to get the locks fixed tomorrow. Thank God for four wheel drive.
