I left the community hotel_workers today. After they started deleting posts because people wouldn't tag, I had a convo with the moderator and offered my help in tagging the posts when people forgot to. It's been over 24 hrs and I haven't heard anything back.

So, some back story for all of you not in the community:
I belong to the lj community hotel_workers. It's designed as a place for people in the hotel industry to vent their frustrations. Tonight was our company Christmas party. I was a little worried. My General Manager ended up having to work night audit last night, because someone was snowed in. Hilarity ensues, Snow Post Pt. 2
I'm lmao, down here. We got 5 inches of snow last night/early this morning. It's a record, or something. Last year, the high for today was 82 degrees. Needless to say, people are freaking out.

Some days I just want to scream. I don't at all understand why people go dumb every time they're faced with a situation they don't know how to deal with. Look at the situation, gather the facts, utilize your resources, make the best decision you can, and hope for the best. That's all it takes.
