I would like to be done with the nausea. Yep. It has other ideas, and so I am procrastinating online in an effort to ignore it.

Still blah. But able to edit up the first of the next three pages on Potions. Last few weeks have made it almost impossible to regain and hold a train of thought while writing, as I keep thinking about all the stuff I needed/still need to do for the holidays, followed by *bargh*. ( general rambles on writing fic, no spoilers or warnings, just cut for length ) -

Still feeling a bit blah last night, I picked up a book from my 'bought but never read' pile, figuring that as icky as I felt, I'd just peruse a few chapters and see how I liked it.

A lady in Petco told me she loved my hair! She loved the color of it! And she was like 15 - 20 years younger than me!!!! She like, meant it!!!

She's the first person not related to me (and therefore somewhat obliged) to tell me how pretty the colors are!

Anyone know of a good videoconferencing host? My neighbor suggested Skype, since they make a lot of overseas video-phonecalls online.
Looking for something easy to set up, and that doesn't overload older computers - we're not going back home to visit family this Christmas because of budget (and driving is really looking iffy with the usual ( Read more... ) -

Drat. Used the wrong saved files in putting up the new journal (they were the non-proofread pre-posts posts)- so, quick question.
Anyone found an easy way to grab from one journal and post in the other, without having to log in to one, grab, log out, log into the other, paste, log out?

Kay, after much deliberation I have decided to move my ongoing fics and drabbles and such to a journal dedicated solely to just writing, leaving this journal for ramblings and such.

Potions Returning after Turkey Day
Things have (predictably) gotten busier; Love potions is getting written, but in dribs and drabs, so I will return to regular posting after Thanksgiving, probably Sunday when everyone has been fed and headed out.

Romances that don't take one and a half pages to describe a night of passion. We can get something far too similar to that amount of alloted time in RL, right girls?
