Lately I'm feeling very middle age. Yes, it's true, I'm possibly too young to be middle aged, but I am. i am stressed out. i had a dream i got fired the other night. and all of the muckety-mucks are flying around all over the place in a tizzy. i think there's going to be some major 're-organization'. i don't think i'll get fired, but i'm not feeling very confident right now. and i cannot lose my job.

i am so painfully tired, i can't even tell you. too many 13 hour work days, too many 5:30 am calls. too little sleep. i can't even post anything remotely exciting. that's how lame i am.
i want a vacation. i want to go camping and sit in the woods, smoke some weed, and read a book. that's what i want.

somebody at work just asked me if what i was wearing was 'hot cotter'.  i don't think they were talking about the welcome back, kotter look but haute couture.  a for effort though.

so i totally fell in love with this dog on petfinder. he is super cute. he's a scotty, young, was abandoned in the middle of nowhere. i want to adopt him so badly i can't even tell you. true, we already have a scotty, but part of me thinks it would be good for baxter to have a companion. someone he could play with, who could keep him entertained, ( Read more... )

basically, i'm screwed. not only did i just finish our taxes to find that we owe lots of money, right after i submitted them, and i mean 10 minutes afterward, in the mail i got a friendly letter from the IRS. what did it say? nothing good. in fact, it said really really bad stuff. as in "you owe thousands of dollars in 2007 taxes" and even more in ( Read more... )

looks like i have a trip to london coming up!! very exciting.  i haven't been there in 10 years, since Ben and I first met.
