So this fall, Ben and I got SCUBA certified.  It was pretty rad.  We saw many members of the undersea community and really liked it.  I think one of the things that I really liked about it was how friendly everyone is.  I mean really friendly. last night i made the best vegetarian shepherd's pie ever.  carrots, leeks, onions, a good gravy, cheesy garlic mashed potatoes.  it was wonderful.  we had a pretty decent bordeaux with it.  overall, a very good meal.  probably one of the best things i've eaten in a long long time.

i can't wait for left overs tonight.

i just ate a bite of Fruit By The Foot.  I know, I know what you're going to say.  Why? Why? Well, I can tell you this: I will never eat it again.  1.  It tastes like plastic, with a little cornstarch and some citric acid thrown in for flavor.  2.  It is nothing but food dye and sugar. 3. so sunday i ran my 1/2 marathon.  i beat my goal, coming in at 1:58:46, which basically equates to 9:04 minute miles.  I finished in the top 15% of all females and in my division.  Not too bad for my first one.  Of course, I did totally throw up right after i crossed the finish line.  I'm sure the people watching on the sidelines were particularly ( Read more... )
