Oh how I have missed your bigbang stories, Cherie, and this just proves why I love your writing so much. You never fail to amaze me as you bring us on a journey of love, friendship with angst and angry seas thrown into the mix just to make it ten times more better.
I fell in love with Jared in this and with Jensen, they were so wonderfully written and I ached when they did, I cried when they did and my tears fell as Jared was lost to the sea. As I read each line, I became more engrossed on what was happening to our two main men as one tried to hide how much pain he was in from being away from the sea while the other was trying to sooth but knew the inevitable was coming.
Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful world to get lost in.
I've missed writing bigbang stories, so I'm really glad people are out here still willing to read them!! It's so wonderful to hear of how much you empathized with the characters as they went through their journey. Thank you very much for reading my fic and taking the time to leave this lovely feedback!
absolutely gorgeous. i love how it all came back to where it began in the end and the little details in the beginning -- the wind chimes and the arm scars and the hand tattoos (which i had forgotten about until jensen remembered) -- made the perfect bookends to explain everything.
this was such a great read and a wonderful world. thank you for sharing it with us. <3
AHHHH, YESSS!! This is EXACTLY how I wanted it to feel, like bookends. Thank you so much for picking up on that and letting me know that you enjoyed the story. :D
Oh, honey - *clings* - this was stunning. You know there was never going to be any doubt that I loved this, like woah, right? I've missed the hell out of you and then boom - BIGBANG BY CHERIE :D
The way you brought everything full circle, pretty much just back to the beginning and explained everything so beautifully; the wind chimes, the hand scars, the tattoos. Seriously. I'm not always a huge fan of AU's like this because my mind has trouble differentiating between it being RPF and still a fantasy story but it's safe to say that from now on I will not be judging a story by it's crazy, I will be stepping in and reading until my eyes dry up ;)
Also, you hit hard, you hit fast, and you hit all the realities of metal health without making it so painful to read I had to turn away. That is a skill.
Thanks for such a wonderful story, I could not love it more ♥
LOL, I CRAWLED BACK ALL APOLOGETIC LIKE, "HEY WHAT'S UP, I'VE BEEN AWOL, HERE'S 40K." XD
I'm really really happy that you took a chance on this story despite it not being the kind of thing you're usually into. I'm even happier that you didn't regret doing so and that the story was able to hook you despite your hesitations. It's definitely a relief to know that the mental health issues felt well-handled to you, and I love your comment about everything coming full circle.
Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know what you thought, lovely!
