Right, I've had enough. If you're going to mirror your Twitter updates to LJ, one post per tweet, I'm really done with having you on my bookmarked view. I'm not going to "de-friend" people for this, but I am going to filter you out and therefore might miss anything you say that's longer than 140 characters and potentially interesting

Totally agree with you on this one. If I was interested in people's tweets, I'd read Twitter.

No,I agree. One of the reasons I actually use Twitter is so I will make longer and (hopefully) more interesting LJ posts, rather than just, "I had a nice sandwich for lunch" or, "Bored, nothing on TV". Posting tweets to LJ is pointless and irritating.

One post per tweet? That's hideously annoying.

I have recently signed up to Twitter and do the shipping to LJ thing, BUT I have one post per day and it's filtered, and so no one will ever see it who doesn't want to see it. That way I have to assume it's much less annoying if only people who've opted in see it, and I get a more complete archive for that period of time in the future when I think I'll want to read all of this stuff again, and friends who don't follow me on Twitter or read Facebook updates who like that sort of thing can see what I've been getting up to when I haven't got around to writing entries. Perfectly understand the Twitter haters as I was one until recently!

The digest posts I can mostly put up with, tbh. It's the people who are putting up one post per tweet that are pissing me off right now.
