1st Day on the Job
I finished my first full day as an EMT Thur. morning. I work a 24hr shift and have 3 days off, which seems like a lot of time off, but i actually includes a minimum of 16 hrs overtime every pay period. Anywho. I thought about writing all the details of th evening so I could remember them when I get older and forget (so, like next year), but that would take forever. So I'll bullet-post instead. Christmas
Yea, it was Christmas. Not too exciting here. More like any other day since we didn't do anything special. We're holidng off presents until my sis gets into town Tuesday, so I didn't even get out of my pajamas today. We did go to Christmas Eve service last night, which was alright. Yesterday finished up most of my training, which was mainly policy stuff, but I also toured the island a bit driving an ambulance. Their nicer model was locked without keys, so we took the rickety converted-van model that wasn't used in service anymore.
