You're Not Getting Older, You're Getting Bitter!

Mar 03, 2006 09:17

The weather outside is a perfect match for my mood. It's one of those in-between days. Overcast, yet sunny, with an equal chance of rain, or mostly sunshine. (Those of you who know me know I actually quite love rain). Usually weather like this allows me to day dream, and feel all romantic and sentimental. Naturally, I'm feeling very ( Read more... )

The first part of your post sounds a bit like mine. YES, you copied. JK.

If it makes you feel better, I don't have an ipod THIS WEEK EITHER :( :( :(

What kind are you looking for? There are good deals on refurbished ones (with the same warranties) on Apple's site and/or they have "student" deals.

First, let me respond to copying allegations: You wish. Though you are in southern Cali, and I'm in northern, I supect we are sharing the same weather. Now if I mentioned tweeting birds, and happy, happy rainbows that would be a different story.

I'm looking for an ipod that I can use to drown everything out by listening to music, or destracting myself by watching a movie or episode of lost while waiting around in a doctors/dentist office. Nothing too fancy. I told Michael I wanted an ipod nano (which may not be right for my purposes) and not an ipod shuffle. I had actually saved a little so we could go halfies on it, but then I had an unexpected vet bill...

Am I looking for an ipod nano? What simple model should I be looking for?

Yes, I do wish that you would copy me. My weather post was actually written several days ago, so the timing of my next post will be suspect (when it's written it may make sense).

Today is back to rain and overcastedness again. *shrug*

You are probably looking for an ipod nano OR an ipod mini (they still make them) and are cheap!!

Ipod nano's come in 1 ($149), 2 (199), or 4 GB (249)and are incredibly tiny. All are $20 less if you buy it with the "student" discount that anyone can get on their site.

I think that you can get 2 (or 4 gig im not sure) ipod Minis which are the older, larger model for $99 on their site which is a great price. I think that's the same price as the shuffle.

Oh, so it's rain then? I believe the wind has been dictating that your weather is a preview to mine, could be wrong, but either way, I better grab an umbrella.

Yeah, I do suspect that what I really want is an ipod mini vs. nano seeing that I've been wondering if I should get my eyes checked (more becuse of allergies than loss of vision, but still).

Michael is violently opposed to refurbished electronics of any kind, and I suppose I've been picking up his behavoir/attitude. This is the man who won't eat "Safeway Store Brand Salsa" after all (though it is delicious). No generic (or refurbished) for him!

You would brood too, if it happened to you. Okay, Leslie Gore, brood if you want to, but you can still celebrate with broody, moody, sex if you're of a mind to do so, as well. *sigh* Marriage does have its perqs. If you have to, role play one of those bodice-ripper novels, or reenact Wuthering Heights. You'd make a hot Cathy. Merle Oberon's got nothin' on you, Babe. At any rate, just carpe diem!

If you see Mr. Hawk and get all LJ pretty, just don't forget to post pictures, or we I will be inconsolably heartbroken, and much wroth, besides. *snerk* It's been way too long. Give us a birthday present. Heh.

As for Monsieurs Hawk and murnkay well, creative geniuses they may be, but I would also note whom it is who is their Muse. ; )

Hehe.

I don't want sex, I want to look sexy and be safely off limits just the same. You know, the way I used to be when I was single. Hahaha!

Mwah, My Count! Thanks for always rooting for the good g...the good guys me!

WOW! This picture is so out dated. It's like 3 or 4 years and 17 pounds ago.

Far be it from me to gainsay a lady about her looks, especially when she has such a knowledgeable interest in the topic of asethetics from the get-go. Nevertheless, Muse, even if you believe that you were 17 pounds "too much" at that time, I will say that you can carry a wide range of weight very damned well, IMHO, and that's still a very pretty picture. It's nowhere near as important how much you're swinging, but rather how you swing it that counts. ; )
