All week I've been wishing for time to clean my house. Now I have it, and I'm choosing to ignore the fact that I have it.

Yup. Silly. Fixing it now.

I have finally found a job that I care about enough to bite my tongue and put up with things that are unreasonable.

In the end, it's about what we can accomplish, and however asinine the conditions we have to work under, they are better than the alternative.

I think I may mourn that part of myself, even though most folks would call it foolish and

*looks around bedroom*

You know, I could just throw it all away, and fly straight down. Then I could go SHOPPING with my money.

I applied to EMILY's List Campaign Corps- a paid campaign training program- and didn't get it. However, they apparently sent my resume to a bunch of places that needed people and I've gotten 3 or 4 calls so far. The one that looks most promising right now is in AZ. They're flying me out next week for an in-person interview. Wish me luck ( Read more... )

I'm really afraid of scaring away the new boy by being my normal, grumpy self. So there's this perfect job advertised in the Oakland Press and I can't bring myself to write a cover letter for it. I feel so dejected from the last couple years of looking, I just don't want to try anymore. I'm just not ready to throw myself back into it, yet.
