The weather has been strange in 2006. The last few days, it has been well above freezing-- today it is about 50 degrees out-- at least 20 degrees too high for this time of year. Yesterday I got one paper mostly outlined and started working out a structure for another. Today I must get my notes and research organized for at least one of these and start actually writing things. I really would like to finish all of my classes at term's end this time-- it has been so long since I've pulled that off.

I am working on the final edits of a paper that is an entire year late. It is almost finished and should be submitted by nightfall. At which point, I will probably have to cry hysterically from relief ( Read more... )

I'm not dead. I am sitting at home for te first weekday in a very long time, getting ready to attack my backlog of work. Classes are cancelled this morning, and Thanksgiving break begins at noon.
