How to Design a Metaphor. I continue to shape and test metaphors for private-sector clients and others. In both cases, these metaphors are meant to help people to understand the unfamiliar. They aren’t supposed to make someone remark: ‘That’s beautiful.’ They’re meant to make someone realise that they’ve only been looking at one side of a thing.
Nothing I planned to do today got done except cleaning the litterbox, because I spent most of the day in bed with a mixture of depressive episode and migraine.
NOT WINNING. But what can you do.

I've set up a couple of tumblrs lately and not really linked them anywhere except Twitter. Remedying that: Lips and Lids. Makeup. 1. CVS bought Target pharmacies, which is just... scream. Yes, what we need is less competition in the pharmacy market, less incentive for lower prices on prescriptions, more of CVS' shit system. Awesome. I'm pumped for this
