Well, it's my birthday. In approximately 3 hours I'll have been around for quarter of a century.

Other than that there's very little to report. Life is pretty much as it was, and I have nothing to really complain about (though a job would be nice, I suppose...)

In particular, with me. I wasn't well this morning and so called in sick today (or, rather, got Dawn to call in on my behalf, so I could go back to bed), and when I got up at around 12:00 (feeling a little better) I discovered my agency had been trying to contact me. We have our internet back, so I can commence catching up with the last month. I may be some time...

It's been obvious for some time that the company I was working for was suffering financial difficulties (most of the paperwork eventually got passed my way, and usually when I answered the phone it was somebody wanting money), and it seems it's finally gotten bad enough to warrant drastic action - today I was made redundant.
