It's been a while since my last update. Mike & I finally got moved into our new home a few weeks ago. We didn't exactly get all of the painting done that we had hoped. Mike & I are the proud owners of this new home!!! Click the photo for pictures of the inside. It needs a little paint & landscaping, but it's the perfect place for us. I'm extremely excited!!! We need to pack & get out of here by the end of the month. I never thought in a million years that we would be homeowners :)

I am no longer upset w. Mr. Jones (aka pollock joke). I turned on the news last night & there he was, big as Ike. A while back he bought an apt. complex to renovate & now he's using it to house hurricane Katrina victims, free of charge, for 3-6 months. Seriously, I can't be mad at the guy anymore. Last night Mike & I woke up at 2am & drove to Natchez Trace to watch the meteor shower. It happens every year around this time. I've only seen it once before, many years ago with my Mom at their farm. We pulled into a dark rest spot & got out of the car. There were no lights around & the lot was surrounded by woods. I haven't made a real post in a while, but too much hasn't been going on... Friday night Skerik played at Mercy Lounge w. Ivan Neville's Dumpstafunk. He finally played a show in Nashville!!!!
