Holy fucking shit. The Russian-Georgian War has been going on for a few days now but still - the rate at which it's escalating is really frightening. I have to admit I was pretty disgusted with the initial coverage. The news media was shitting itself over Edwards' affair to the point where it barely gave a mention to the beginning of the conflict. limit_breaker had brought it to my attention before but I just thought it was LJ fucking up when, in fact, I was the one "keeping" entries from appearing on my friends' pages. I had made an entry in the future as a sort of milestone thing for myself. Another night/morning.
I used to think I was an introspective person. I might have been at one point, I oddly enough can't remember. However, as I lay awake, dabbling here and there on my computer (occasionally picking up the Watchmen), I realize I don't really think about anything - not much anyway.
