I dont like to fly in the first place. but now the idea of flying to chicago tomorrow has my stomach all in knots. i am thinking about driving. is this overly neurotic of me? opinions please. what would you do?

So. The good fairy has been looking out for me. I had decided i needed a worm factory for my compost. Alas, since i had just sprung for a regular compost i was planning on fantasizing about worms till next year when i could justify another  garden expenditure. I took apart some vintage curtains i had (the floral fabric) and sewed them to the bottom of the gingham valance. Now i have cafe curtains. I like it because it lets in the light but gives us privacy at night when we are eating.

The bottom tablecloth with all the little cherries on it is from home goods. Its vinyl so very kid friendly. It was $5. I ( Read more... )
