Hailing unworthy champions

Ha...I was going to post this up on DA but...I'm not sure when I got sick of the responses, but I did. Ditching the entry seemed like a pain too so it's going to go here. Maybe I'll just dump most of the more severe dissery here. That way I can even talk about the blinking idiots on DA without worrying about the mods coming to banhammer me XD

Okay, so he's gay. I don't think anyone really has a problem with that bit. Rowling just shouldn't have told us about it in the way that she did ( ... )

Thing is, I agree, I don't think there was any way of Dumbledore suddenly coming out of the closet on his death bed, but considering all the dirt Rita Skeeters was digging up, and hell considering the existence of an entire school, and entire community of magic using witches and wizards, is it so hard to at least show that homosexuality actually exists ( ... )

Reading the books it did feel like a whole pile of Heterosexuality, but Draco caught me as gay for bugging Harry so much. :P Like what little boys do when they like someone. My son's in that age now, where he was throwing grass at a girl he liked, just to get her attention.

Other than that? No, I didn't think about the possibility for any of the other characters, and I doubt kids are going to think anything about it. Heck, I watched Pee-Wee growing up and back then I didn't get any of the jokes. Watching it now, it's like "The hell? My parents let me watch this stuff?"

XD; Yeah, I think she's crazy. Ever since she *coughed* Sirius and then bawled about it forever saying she HAD TO DO IT, nothing surprised me rfom her. Yeah, it was pretty random though. Maybe like how the when the new ADA for Law and Order was in her last episode and leaving she randomly said in the last 5 minutes "Is this because I'm a lesbian?" which was totally out of the blue! Only, I'm thinking that wasn't for publicity like this was. Time for the fandom to draw Dumbledore when he was hot and 20 (and gay)!!

I remember that! I totally didn't see it coming, at all, and it was like, err... what?

Law and Order = love.

It seems likes she takes ideas from fanfiction. Take Blaise Zabini for example. He was nothing more then a name in the first book, even his sex was unknown. But once people started taking the name and developing it into a character in their fanfiction, Rowling suddenly decides that he's going to be in Half-Blood Prince and hang out with Draco.

It was safe for her to announce a character as homosexual after her books were finished. She knew that the fanfiction community were mostly more then okay with gay relationships. I would have more respect for her if she actually took a chance and had a very open, very obviously gay character. But that would have influenced the sales in a negative manner, most likely.

Does it really matter when you're already richer than the queen?

I simply don't respect her for not taking that chance to produce something interesting and actually meaningful.

I wish I were richer than the queen, then I can write about anything I want too ( ... )

I knew Dumbledore was gay from the moment Dumbledore set his pedophillic eyes on the stupid creature known as Harry.

I actually laughed out loud when I read this part. You're awesome to the max! This was the most fun rant I've read in quite a long while, haha. Keep it up!
