Wow, I haven't used LiveJournal in quite some time. My last entry was back in June '07, when all the stress of the end of the quarter led me to write my thoughts down to help organize them. My laptop finally died. Take a tip from me, when your dc connection starts arcing, get it fixed right away. Don't wait till sparks turn to smoke. Still thinking of attempting some sort of Frankensteinish repair, but bought a new machine anyway ( Read more... ) -
Ozzfest
Ozzfest appears to be "free" this year, with sponsorship covering the bands' costs. They haven't revealed how to get tickets yet, but I'm thinking you'll have to jump through some hoops that expose you to lots of ads. I've also read one rumor that you'll have to buy like 10 cases of pepsi to get a ticket, or similar deals with other products ( Read more... ) -
Super Sad
Steve Irwin has died.
Of all the extremely dangerous creatures he has pissed off, a simple stingray did him in. Wikipedia tells me this is only the second fatal stingray attack in Australia's history.
