The summer is pretty much gone and I can't say I'll miss the heat. I know we'll get some hot days yet, but they won't last weeks at a time. I've never been a summer person. The tension in our household is noticibly deminished tonight. Work on "the hill" continues and we move slowly ahead.
What a difference a day (and much heartwrenching prayer) can make.

I don't seem to be able to get to doing this much lately. We have embarked on another decking project. Much of this one depends upon our youngest son digging and pouring concrete for the footings, and that isn't really going too smoothly, mostly because he and my husband lock horns over how much time he puts into the job. My mother, Lance's Gramma, saw a specialist today. He is not sure she needs a pacemaker, at least at this time. He is sending her home tomorrow with a Holter Moniter, which she will wear for 48 hours and then return to the hospital. At that time he will review the data and make a decision about what to do.
