FIC: "The Waiting"

One year ago tonight, I was standing in a long line at a bookstore ticking off the last hour before the release of DH. My Mom was visiting and she went with me, and people were dressed up (including a very believable Bellatrix), and it was so much fun.

I loved the book, but I felt, like most H/G shippers, it would have been nice to see their ( Read more... )

Thanks - that's a lovely thing to say, especially given how much good H/G is out there. Most of my stories are posted here, so rummage away!

Oh man. I read this ages ago, but I was at work and couldn't comment, and then I forgot to come back and do so. Oops.

I just re-read it, and loved it all over again. Very in character and smoothly written. Really lovely. :D :D

Thanks so much, sweetie! Really, making it an Editor's Pick in the OTP was a great review in itself - made my whole week. I'm glad you liked it (both times)!

This is a really good fic - it feels very real, with the presence of Fred's loss, and the pressure of all the various complications that you get after the end of period of conflict, and after people have been killed. Your voice for Ginny seems just right, too.

Thanks for the lovely review! I'm always glad when people think something I've written seems realistic - that's usually what I'm striving for.

This is a beautiful missing moment. I'm so glad I found it. Thank you for posting it. Now that I'm finished with my Molly-centric version, I'm able to read Deathly Hallows and the summer after it fan fics.

I remember reading a story of yours about Harry and Ginny getting away together when they had been married for quite a while and were so busy with their careers.

Glad you liked it! I've not had time to read (or write) as much as I'd like, but I will put your story on my list.

I remember reading a story of yours about Harry and Ginny getting away together when they had been married for quite a while and were so busy with their careers.

I wrote that for a fic exchange last year run by r_becca. I just signed up for her new fest takingitinturns, so I guess I'll be writing at least one more story this year.

Thanks for reading!
