Keep developing patience and kindness.  Those pangs of loneliness are just reminders that attachment is what makes you suffer.  The longing for companionship is fundamentally a selfish one.

Never let the inertia of convenience separate you from your ambition toward happiness.

Spending a few days near Los Angeles on business.  Hope I get there and back intact!

There are some days when I hate everything in the world that moves and draws breath.  There's just no point to it.

This weekend I drove insanely far (for me, as I hate going on roadtrips by myself) down to Indianapolis to visit Liz and see all the sights.

Saw a couple of movies, one terrible one mediocre, and did a little sightseeing downtown Indianapolis.  Fairly large city filled with memorials as it was apparently designed by the same person who planned out ( Read more... )

New location, new job, new apartment, but same old awesome.

Am now on the West coast of Michigan working on engineering components for large military vehicles.  You can't call them all tanks because the one I'm working on isn't - it's an infantry fighting vehicle which is the same giant track driven armored vehicle but it's used more for recon and ( Read more... )
