It's holiday card time and I need addresses for anyone that wants a card. I can't guarantee that I'll be early or quick (meaning that I might wait til I get to my family to mail them out), but they'll get there. All of the comments here are screened or you can e-mail me. Either way works for me.

Since it's been a while since the last time I posted, I'll start way back. My birthday back in September was pretty good. The bar I karaoke at had a cake for the 5-6 of us that had a birthday that week. They left my name off of it (on accident) and then gave me the knife with which to cut it. This past weekend I went back to St. Louis for my 5-year high school reunion. It was a lot of fun. Since this is a long update, I cut everything in sections for your reading pleasure.

Well, that was a much needed break. I managed to get condo keys from my grandmother since my parents couldn't make the trip this year and brought a friend with me down to the beach. So, life's been going well. I wasn't able to fill out paperwork for the new job yesterday because the boss's boss was out of town, but I can go in on Monday to do everything. I had fun at my co-worker's birthday party a few weeks ago and last week I took a long "weekend" (read: Sun-Tues) to hit up the parks and just take a break, which was also ( Read more... )

Wow...so it's been a while since I've actually posted, though I promise I've been reading. Today I managed to be outdoors and under trees and things at the zoo without getting pooped on by a bird, hopefully that three times in 3-4 weeks was it. It was fun.

So, life's been mildly hectic. Since I got back to Orlando in the beginning of January, I've been working my lil' butt off at Red Lobster. I've clocked about 40 hours a week since I've been back; the past two I've kept my eye on the clock so that I don't go into overtime since the government will take more out of my paycheck. It's that time of year again and I'm with my family in the cold 1/2 North (North to me in Florida, but in reality it's the middle of the country). Difference is that this year I've graduated, so when I head back to Orlando I'll be on my own two feet completely. The salary job starts in January/February, which should be fun.
