I dropped my bike off yesterday so Tri Bike Transport could get it to CDA.....yay!!  I still had a two hour ride on the schedule for Saturday so I started dusting off my old road bike.

Training is going well. Six months ago....I just wanted to say that my IM training was consistent, but I can honestly say that my training has been better than I could have ever imagined. I had a fabulous Wednesday QW.  The workout itself was tough but successful.  Soaking in cold water was a very nice way to end the workout part of my day.  I got a little sad when I realized that we don't have too many more of these Wednesday workouts left....or any Ironman workouts for that matter.

 On Saturday I did the Armadillo Classic in Liberty Hill. As part of my IM training, I did the 105 mile option. I was very nervous about this, but it helped that I did the Austin to Shiner ride the week before.

It’s been a really good week…last week….not so good, but I’ll start with the GOOD.

I've wanted  to write a little bit about my Shiner experience, but I've been CRAZY busy since then!!  It was a lot of fun, hung out with some friends that I don't get to see as often these days and met some new friends.  I love meeting new friends that think a 70 mile ride sounds "nice!"
