Felt almost like I was somehow transported to the Glee universe today; random music like whoah! My grade 9s were learning Irish drinking songs as part of their Ireland unit and as I walked into my grade 7 class they began serenading me with Justin Bieber music XD Oh my sweethearts, how I love 'em.

I love my Germans so very much. Had a fantastic B-day; the roommates gave me a lovely bouquet of tulips, had a 2 hour work out with my roommate Charly this morning, did a 2 hour bike ride with Ilka, ate freshly baked apple streudel, got lovely gifts from my coworkers, skyped with my parents, received many b-day emails from my colleagues in the ( Read more... )

Finally some legit boy kissing on Glee. But why do I even watch this show anymore? I don't like most of the music, dislike most of the characters and annoyed by the plot. *shrugs* Ah well.

Glad to know my friends in Japan are doing ok.  I'm still freaked out by the goings on at the nuclear plant, but it is reassuring to know that even if the worst does happen it will not be a Chernobyl repeat. Watching the German coverage of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.  I've already heard from my friends there, who are ok and are luckily far from the epicenter.  The main worry now is the possibility of a meltdown at 2 of the Japanese AKW (atomic energy works). Shit. The possibility of a repeat of Chernobyl is terrifying.

Tuesdays I work from the 1. Stunde (7.40am) until the 8. Stunde (ends 3.15pm). The last two periods are rehearsals for my grade 6 English theater club. Unruhe in der Arabischen Welt.  Ich lese taglich kandische und deutsche Zeitungen online und gucke taglich auch die Nachrichten von N-TV. In Juni schreibe ich die D.A.F. Prüfung in Hannover, daswegen nehme ich jetzt ein C1-C2 Vorbereitungskurs.  Die andere Studenten kommen aus viele andere Länder (Russland, Litauen, Poland, usw.) und wohnen und arbeiten schon eine lange Zeit in Deutschland.
