I had a realization the other day. It happened when we got pulled over by the police in Saskatchewan. Immediately my body froze because I knew we had some things in the car that we shouldn’t have. Long day yesterday. Drove from Vancouver to Calgary (10 plus hours). Musi had an aquaintance in Calgary so we got to stay at his place for the night free of charge. Nothing quite like being offered butter chicken at 1200 AM after driving all day. The drive was pretty scenic. We traveled through Rocky Mountain National Park and Banff. Finally, after spending a seemingly eternity in the car, we are officially in Seattle. Little to say about the city as of yet. We arrived fairly late, went to hostel, got something to eat, and went to bed. Today we may go up in the space needle, go to the zoo, or head out to Olympic National Park.
