So I go back to Okinawa for a bit and I miss all the fun. Damn. But Okinawa was just as fun. Kraken tastes amazing when grilled with goya. Just saying.

Looks like my run has to wait a little. At least until I can get one of the Hephaestus kids to fix my glasses. They broke this morning suddenly. So until then, I get to enjoy looking at one large blur.

I don't have the gift of prophecy like some of my brothers and sisters, but I can tell something isn't right here. This morning my shoes were upside down. That alone wouldn't be an issue, but there have been crows gathering above the cabin. I've never seen this many. Already 4 days into the New Year. I wonder what this year will hold for us all. I have set myself some goals for this year. I'm going to make them a reality. I also wonder if this year, I'll get chosen for a quest. I'd like to test myself against something other than other campers in our morning exercise group, but I suppose we will see what we see

It seems my brother has declared a snow war. As much as I love to fight, there is no way I'm going to go out in the cold and throw snow at people. Anyone who throws snow at me be warned: I will dodge it and I WILL come after you. That is all

I'm sure some of you are now celebrating, but I hope at least a few of you have come to appreciate that there are other cultures in this world other than your own in Hiroshi and I sharing a little of our island culture with you. So, I'll be cooking for a while, will I? Well then, I'm sure we'll all grow to love goya as much as I do. And I'm sure Hiroshi has some of that really nice Koregusu handy. I'm sure Okinawan cooking will really open up a world of delicious cuisine.

I suppose my nice warm cabin for winter is going to be a thing of the past. Kenya, it was enjoyable while it lasted, but with this "punishment" and the re-exertion of the rules, I suppose I'll have to move back to the cold redhead filled Hermes cabin. Maybe I can get one of those Hephaestus kids to put a heater or a fireplace in.
