I just finished the New Jedi Order series (published by Del Rey): A ninteen book mega-epic depicting the Yuuzhan Vong war that lasted from 26-30ABY (After the Battle of Yavin).  The series lost a bit of its visceral nature toward the end (as you were more certain that the good guys would win), but as a whole the tale is incredible in scope, depth, ( Read more... )

I got a reservation of WarioWare: Smooth Moves for Christmas, and received it today.  It's not a game I would have bought myself, but I'm glad I got it.  This game is hillarious.  It's along the lines of charades or twister, where the idea is to make everybody involved look really dumb - but it's okay, because everybody looks dumb ( Read more... )

So far, the Nintendo Wii is impressive and highly recommended. Nintendo seems to have turned out a really polished product. For everybody who doesn't read every video game news report that comes down the pipes, here's what's in the box:

Here I am, in Coeur D'Alene Idaho, the proud new owner of a Nintendo Wii system.
