... now I think it stands for "No Okane* Very** Apologetic"
So, this work week has been really really shitty.

And that is one serious understatement )

Eek!
I am sorry to hear that this has happened, Maggie. I hope that Nova pulls through this and that you get your money sooner rather than later!
If you are stuck for a job...JS did ask me if you would consider coming to work here...;)

Thanks babe! I don't think Nova will go under - it's too big, but it will have to scale back - they are already closing some branches, so we'll see. I should be okay though as I am an AT and have a stellar teaching record so they wont fire me (I'm fairly certain).

Tell JS I really appreciate it, but Korea's not really my style - besides I might be going to the UK soon enough ^_-

I've been in a No'kane situation before, it seems to happen at least once for each job I've been in. Things can just get tied up in the works, but this sounds really messed up of them to be doing.

Hope things turn out okay. I hear that Japan is always hurting for English teachers, and it's because of that that the JET program is so easy to get into. If one place doesn't work out, would you be able to ask for another?

I'm sorry to hear that you know what it's like. I'm not super worried - just angry and frustrated really. I know I'll have no trouble getting a job here, if I decide to stay on. But who knows what will come next.. :)

Take a deep breath. You enjoy what you are doing and there may be troubles with the payroll department that no one knows about. Things could straighten out and because you were loyal and did your job, you could be rewarded. There really could be a simple (but still annoying) explanation. Remember if you need finacial help, just call and it will be there within minutes.

Yeah, it's shitty, but it'll work itself out, as you said. I dont think it'll go under - more like they'll close some branches and stuff.
Meh. Maybe I'll go to the UK or something :D

PS: He really does, doesn't he!
