Hi,

I don't think that you would remember me, my name is Sheila, I posted once as wrongway, and I am a friend of Gina. Anyhow, after a long absence from LJ I am poking around and I saw your post.

I am a flaming liberal, and I just wanted to say that this is the most levelheaded and thoughtful approach I have seen written by the "other side" at least as a blog or posting. While I don't agree with your points on single payer healthcare, it actually has me thinking about your points in other areas.

Thank you for your eloquence.

Sheila

um, it's his page, so it seems like your problem. That's pretty much how I would feel about a conservative telling my I post to much political stuff.

He is a nice guy, and I have met him in person. But since I spend most of my day with a toddler these days, I do not do well with outside stress that makes me want to go XKCD 386 on someone.

Because I think he is a nice guy, I am letting him know that I dropped him because he is a) not posting often and b) posting very little besides political rants when he posts rarely.

I can *only* take politics with an enormous dose of humor these days.

I live in a working class area that has been destroyed by the years of bad economies. Your examples are not extreme to me. To me they are normal ( ... )
