Proof beyond a reasonable doubt in the case of a 2nd degree or 3rd degree murder charge is HARDER to do than one imagines. There were witnesses, but they were either not in clear view, audio only, or otherwise not fully paying attention.
The pressures on the participants in this trial are off of the scale, I am sure.

My personal fears are no reason to convict a man.
