From the campus newspaper today: Landlord appeals fee for county permit

Basically, Guy owns apartment building. County starts giving Guy shit because his occupancy permit is over thirty years out of date and they have recently become interested in enforcing this law. Guy decides he would rather EVICT ALL HIS TENANTS than pay the county ninety ( Read more... )

So I know most other 20-something college-age liberals are looking forward to Obama's inauguration this Tuesday. I am not. Or I am, in the sense that THE DC AREA WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL ONCE IT'S OVER. It's going to be such a huge hassle for those of us who live here.
