Ari's birthday is friday, to celebrate we are gathering at Dublin Square in East Lansing to celebrate! We will be sitting on the patio. You don't have to join us for dinner, just stop by and wish our little birthday girl a happy bday! We'll probably be there for a few hours, come when you can.

It's a relief that the weekend is over. It was a lovely weekend, but it was long and rather tiring. It's funny, we didn't go more than eighteen miles from our house, and it almost felt like we were out of town. I can't believe how excited I am about the Stanley Cup Finals. Pittsburgh! Detroit! There's an epic quality to it. The best team in the NHL, the Red Wings, against the best players in hockey, Crosby and Malkin. It's quite possible that the Pittsburgh Penguins will be squaring off against the Detroit Red Wings this weekend, right smack in the middle of a few wedding receptions I have to go to. Originally I was going to head up to Brushwood for Wellspring this weekend and mock the Druids (not really!), but Ari couldn't go and the idea of shivering alone at Brushwood was enough to keep me in Michigan this weekend.
