Over the course of the weekend - Friday morning through Sunday afternoon - I walked 11 miles. I just didn't re-set my pedometer. Happy May Day!

I tell people all the time that Advent and Lent/Holy Week for church workers are like tax season for accountants. There is too much to do and not enough time, you have to be at work early, stay late, and work on your day off, and you can't change the deadline. Thanks to Mom and Sully for keeping it interesting today. After an hour outside, I had a thin layer of yellow dust on me and had to shower. Ah, Atlanta in the springtime.

4.29 miles. I checked the pedometer on my walk to work and I seem to have found my stride. It is 32", in case you're curious.

According to my pedometer I walked 2.73 miles tonight. I suspect that this is a fallacy and a lie. I checked it at the church, which I know is .75 miles from my house. According to my car, that stretch is .75 miles, but when I got home my pedometer only said that I had been .66 miles. Bum-mer. I'm going to try to adjust the stride again.
