So to go on from my last post, which was part gloom and doom; part acceptance; and a little seed of hope. Now I can start to summarize what's been going on for the last little bit.

So the battle is over, we're left on the field, sucking mud. Bloodied and bruised, poor but not stripped entirely of dignity. Saw my new psychiatrist this week, nice lady from California. She's looked all through my files and had a good old talk with me about various symptoms and she's leaning away from just the usual anxiety and depression and started me on treatment for cyclothymia ( Read more... )

Hi all. I know it's been like forever and all, but if you knew how much energy it took to just read this LJ thing, little own make a post of any substance...

On January the 26th this year all the stressors at work came to a head and I lost it big-time. I had a huge meltdown and plunged into a well of panic and despair.
