Sadly my adopted Mum lost her battle with cancer on September 21st, after it got the better of too many systems and she got too weak to fight any more. However she was able to enjoy much of her final months regardless of chemo, radiation and the shear ( Read more... )

Well as some of you may know my Mum in Canada has not been at all well of late, having had 3 of her 4 parathyroids removed in December and developing a great deal of difficulty swallowing as a result. Well we're all still pretty busy here, but we have survived the Supreme and getting all the cats shots done and up to date! Now we just have to make it through our son's birthday and his first parent/teacher evening as well as MrO having to work tonight (the only night we could really do any food shopping before we run out of food round here).
