it occurred to me when i saw a frumpy looking black woman wearing fuscia lipstick, that frumpy black women shouldn't wear fuscia lipstick. in fact black women at all shouldn't wear it. or any pink lipstick in general. it's so terribly unflattering with their skin colour. unless is part of some really cool makeup scheme. but not just for everyday

monday evening i tried to install tiger, apple's latest release of os x, on my computer. i borrowed boot discs from dave and then came home and tried to set it up. it's supposed to be really easy to do, just insert the disc, click the icon, follow a few simple onscreen instructions and let it do it's thing. my computer didn't like that. instead ( Read more... )
