Just a quickie, although heaven knows I havent done an update for a while. Lots to say since last time; went to Pat and Catherine's wedding yesterday, which was great. Today is a lovely sunny day, and so I meandered into town and bought a sandwich and a coffee, and took it to the Tinguely fountain to eat. Apart from a few pigeons, everything was most peaceful and contemplative, and I was feeling very zen. Im quite tired at the moment, a situation caused by lots of work, irregular sleep and a thoroughly disrupted routine. Im not actually complaining; its all been quite fun, but I have to say the pressure has been showing a little over the last few days. Blurgh. Ive got a cold, or flu or somesuch. In any event, it means Im not at work and am currently sitting at home in my dressing gown feeling rotten. Ironically this (my second sick day since working here) happened just two days after my proudly proclaiming how I never got sick, and the latest bug going round was sure to pass me by. I went to get a Snickers bar the other day, and the work vending machine not only did not have any, it offered four different varieties of cigarette amongst the chocolate.
