Helllooooooo all. :) First off a big huge AWDT welcome to acromantular and confiteor-3 who join us for the first time. *waves and welcomes* Hope you enjoy yourselves.
Second, this is announcing that the sign ups for the AWDT's Second Birthday fic exchange will be posted during the week. The rules will be the same as last year. Basically, you'll sign up if you want to join in. You'll give us some details on what you would like or not like. We will assign another signer upperer to write you a beautiful second birthday fic, secretly, of course. You'll post your fic by a certain date to your journal and leave me a link and then I shall list them all in a huge masterlist.
No, you don't have to be a regular contributor to the AWDT to join in the birthday celebrations, however, if you sign up, that means that you agree to write a fic for someone, not only receive one. All rules and information will be in the sign up post.
Ali and I are very proud of the AWDT. We've seen some of the most talented authors join in and we've seen lots of those new to fandom and to writing in general. Each week, almost every week, we receive between 10 and 20 drabbles/fics for the prompt and that's an amazing feat. Now, we are coming up to our second birthday, which we can't quite believe. We hope that you've all enjoyed it, that we've made it a fun and supportive place to be. So, keep an eye out in this lj for the sign up post.
