Terra had her bachelorette party last night. Seems like they had a good time. They went bowling at the Park Tavern, then came over to the "party room" in our apartment building and did some karaoke, and then they went downtown to go dancing until the wee hours. Holy crap, did we have a busy weekend!
On friday night, we went down to Waseca for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Between Terra and myself, we contributed about $400. The grand total of the event was over 100,000 dollars, which is absolutely great. If you've never been to an event like this, it is quite moving. They light all these ( Read more... ) -

So, what's everybody doing this coming Saturday night? I'll tell you what you should be doing: coming out to see my dad's band play in St. Paul. They will be playing at a neighborhood bar called "The Noose" on Saturday around 9pm. The Noose is at 1179 7th Street East - kind of between downtown St. Paul and White Bear Avenue. Had a fun weekend, with just a touch of melancholy. Went down to my Grandma's house (AKA The Farm, as it is known within my family) for the annual "Farm Clean-Up". This is a day where most of the extended family on my dad's side gets together and helps clean up my grandmother's place from the winter.
