weekend update

i have a new love, and it is Ben and Jerry's Fair Trade Coffee Ice Cream. heaven. ever since diamondbankman1 mentioned coffee ice cream last weekend, i have been craving it. and oh boy, it was worth the wait. i could eat the whole pint, but i won't because i should save some enjoyment for tomorrow.

If you had a striped wall, you would officially be the coolest person I know.

Sorry to hear about your work situation, but good that you recognize that it's more a sign for you to make that life change (not that moving isn't a life change, obvs) than merely a trend of just plain crap at the office. (I have a way with words, don't I?)

One last thing: when you said you would be putting shelves "under the bar," did you mean the bar where you hang clothes in a closet? Or the bar where you mix Manhattans? Because if it's the latter -- and especially if it's IN YOUR BEDROOM -- you've definitely skyrocketed to the heights of coolness!

(Just imagine the possibilities: you could drink yourself into a haze whilst standing at your own bar, then simply fall backwards onto your own bed for the passing-out portion of the evening (or morning, if you're especially hardcore) -- bypassing the temporary nap on the kitchen floor entirely! Besides, linen is way more comfortable than linoleum.) :-P

hehehe, the bar doubles as a kitchen counter, so sadly it's not in the bedroom! that would be AWESOME, though-- we'd be so L.A. "would you like a nightcap, darling?" maybe in the next apartment...i'll have to keep that in mind!
