How does my Pandora radio station know that I am female, and therefore a willing recipient of advertising about pretty purple razors? If I changed from my Sleater-Kinney station to my Front 242 station, would I then get an advertisement for leather goods or electronics?
So the Bjork concert on Wednesday was awesome. She was exactly as you would expect her to be: adorable, dancing like crazy, and running all over the stage. i think yesterday was the first time i have ever cried over a Supreme Court decision. i just cannot believe the Justices upheld the ban on intact dilation & extraction abortions. and there's been so little news coverage of the decision

ok, that's it-- i'm only calling Jews today. of the 4 donors/prospects i've called this morning, 3 have been out of the office/office closed. i always forget that Good Friday is kind of a big holiday for people. as Steve says, my parents just didn't raise me with a strong feeling for the Lord's Day
