Although, I don't really support any of the other pairings. I'll debate you, though, just for kicks. Uh... you can pick the other pairing, so long as I'm on the JapanxChina side.
Funny enough, I was just thinking about making an entry relating to this same topic.
Umm... anyway, I completely agree to you on your beliefs with this pairing. No matter what, these two countries are tied up to each other in ways that no one could believe. Even if people didn't support their pairing, they cannot deny there were relations already set between these two. I would stand my ground saying that JapanxChina is proven to be CANON with the support of their historical background.
Sigh, I'm just very thrilled that you're ever so willing to share your insight with us. It gives me more strength to love this pairing even more... Believe me, I don't really have any close friends who like the JapanxChina pairing like I do. Therefore, I don't get any support for liking my favorite OTP at all.
It's very nice to finally be around people besides myself why this pairing should exist.
Thank you so much for sharing. Your words mean a lot. =]
(I'm definitely saving your discussion to my memories. Oh, and this is itakoyakiI shall be posting in
( ... )
I'm really glad that you like JapanxChina as well (and I was so sad when you seemed to have left! X(...) but anyways, feel free to post whatever, and I'd love to read more of your thoughts on JapanxChina and anything else you might feel that pertains to this community~

Oh, sorry about that! My other lj is used for more personal usages so I decided to make this new lj to dedicate myself to fandoms.
I don't know if I'll be able to explain myself properly through words since I'm poor with writing. But I'll do my best. =]
The video link entry I mentioned, I just found more videos today so it's going to take even longer to finish. XD But don't worry, my first entry on here is on its way. >:3 Mwahaha...

Half-coherent? More like brilliantly joking yet argumentative at the same time. Although I would love nothing more than to debate you whole-heartedly on this issue, I don't really care for pairing debates.
...That, and argument number three (Japan not letting anyone else 'get' China) just really gets to me.
Re: Definitely!acquiescemeDecember 30 2009, 19:49:11 UTC
Key phrases I really liked (aka: totally lol-ed at...): "(and the nations were not just shameless, faithless sluts, of course)" "...Now, if only I could use that word (microcosm, I mean) right... XD" "maybe five, fifty, or even five hundred years of history, but that is nothing compared to the over-3,000 years of history " "Hell, we can even switch sides, and you can still pick the pairing~"
Thank you for writing this, and inspiring me to respond with something of my own~
First of all, I want to say I loved Half a Millennium, and I want to thank you for writing it. xD Back when I first started it, I read all 48 chapters in one sitting, and then eagerly waited for the last 2 chapters to be posted.
Ever since that story, I have loved JapanxChina.
Now, on to the discussion: it is definitely the history that makes it for me. Without a doubt.
You are completely right - they have been through so much together, compared to the relationship they may have had with others.
There are a million things you can write about this pair~ It's too bad I don't see *a lot* of stuff for them anywhere...
Haha, if I say anything else, I'll end up agreeing with every single one of your points. x)
I'm glad other people agree with me and it always makes me happy to see people comment/post in this community, because discussion!!! is one of the things that I adore.
*laughs* I liked the third paragraph too--
And it is a shame that not enough people write/draw/contribute towards Japan/China, but it's okay! *cough* Because surely you can contribute something, right? XDDD *coughcoughcough*
Wow! I just wrote something to reply to the RAPE!! Argument, so it's always really fun(ny) to see other people use the same argument.
It's like a debate block (law school-ish?)! *killed for nerdiness*
Anyways, thank you for replying and discussing and well, actually voicing your opinion? I was always a fan of Japan/China, but moreso because China is the eternal uke for me, and any characteristic of Japan's (more article-writing to be done there... eheheh).
