we're getting a "preview" through the satellite provider of boomerang, a cartoon network channel. at 1:30 in the morning they show jonny quest. how cool is that? un-PC cartoon action rules! (and it's fun to think about jonny growing up to be eric stratton, rush chairman)

no wonder i feel like hell in the morning -- i'm 12053 days old.

because i would have been disappointed to learn that i could have stayed home and listened in the comfort of my living room. seriously, the rolling stones are playing a concert three miles from my house and it sounds like some jackass is in my driveway with the stereo turned up. maybe they're adhering to the "if-it's-no-good-just-make-it-louder"

1. i am super-ass lazy.
2. i do most of the laundry (actually folding underwear right now).
3. i love to cook and have my cooking complimented.
4. KU basketball is a priority.
5. i think beer is pretty cool.
6. my wife and i make cute kids.

my grandpa (like a lot of our grandpas) served in WWII. he was in indonesia preparing for the japanese invasion when the atomic bombs were dropped. we share the same middle name, which i also passed on to my son. just typing this entry chokes me up a little, thinking of what grandpa did. happy memorial day, bill.
