Yeah, I loved "Bitches Ain't Shit" when we saw Ben Folds in San Fran. I also liked that he tried to involve the crowd in the singing of it.

there's something about lyrics like "lick on these nuts and suck the dick" sung in perfect pop harmony that just cracks me up. have you heard richard cheese? if no, you should check out his covers of "baby got back" and "shake ya ass". you'll enjoy them immensely, i'd wager, but hey, what do i know?

When there is a really great band playing but you know you won't find anyone else who would want to spend the money to go - would you just go by yourself? That is, if you were a girl?

yes. if i wanted to go badly enough. i did go see the arcade fire by myself. typically i'm too absorbed in the music, or the anticipation of forth-coming music, to be much company to anyone at all. however, i do catch myself thinking things like: "jay, you are at a concert by yourself. you are such a fucking loser".

as for being a girl, i don't know what that's like. the girl sitting beside me at ben folds was alone. at least she was sitting alone. if she can do it, i'm sure you can!
